Lame funny but the thing is, why is Horatio putting on a pair of sunglasses on top of the one he already has on?!!
“You, the girl who reads, make me want to be everything that I am not. But I am weak and I will fail you, because you have dreamed, properly, of someone who is better than I am. You will not accept the life that I told of at the beginning of this piece. You will accept nothing less than passion, and perfection, and a life worthy of being storied.”

I’m one day late, but it’s okay, I failed to adhere to my diet plans today anyway.
So.
1. Save $600/month. Even if I’m dead broke.
2. Be patient. Even with dumb electrical devices.
3. Be punctual for social appointments. I’m almost never late for work but when it comes to meeting friends/him, i can’t seem to keep time. :/
4. Get my advanced diving certification. I just have to be brave and close one eye to all the sea urchins out there.
5. See more of the world. Current plans are Korea with the girls possibly in June/July and either Spain or Greece with him in December. Hopefully I can squeeze in a couple of mini-trips in between!
6. Enjoy work, and grow to love it. We’ll see. :P
7. In relation to #6, gunning for a promotion in a year’s time. If I love my job, I should do well at it, right?
8. Spend less on unnecessary stuff and more on the necessities. By necessities I’m referring to more clothes, a new watch and branded bags. Uh huh. :D
9. Be less obsessed with numbers and pay more attention to form. This is going to be hard but I will try my best to ignore the weighing scale.
10. Pick up a gym membership and sign up for Exotic Dance Level 3 classes once i settle in at work. Fit and Fab, baby!
11. To find it in me to be nice to people who might not be nice, but who deserve the niceness still.
11. To appreciate everything and everyone I have in my life. Also, to demonstrate all that appreciation.
Be gone, 2011, especially when you brought more downs than ups.
2012, I expect more from you. Don’t you dare let me down! (You can replace ‘2012’ with ‘Eileen’ if you like. I prefer a gentler approach on myself though.)
I’m so happy we made it through 2011, baby.
I also wish the English language had something besides ‘happy’ to describe the amount of joy and gratefulness and anticipation and a whole lot of other emotions jumbled together that i’m feeling now.
But ah well, as long as you know. :)
